Quicknote: Changing RDP listening port might require addtional step

A fast VQ (Virtualistic Quicknote) I followed this MS KB article to change the port, RDP listens on but after that nothing happened.
I was still able to login trough the old 3389 port. How to fix this? Go into the Terminal Services configuration and disable/enable the RDP connection. (TIP: don’t try to this when you’re on a RDP connection
😉 )

Quicknote: removing unwanted outlook toolbars

A fast VQ (Virtualistic Quicknote)
I had some trouble with Outlook a few weeks ago. Users were not allowed to see a toolbar which was installed with a certain program. I removed the addin from HKLM but the toolbar remained visible to users who had already started Outlook.
The solution is to remove all instances of the file: OUTCMD.dat for those users.

Quicknote: comment regkeys

A fast VQ (Virtualistic Quicknote)
You can comment your regkeys by putting a ; in front of your comments!
Easy if you can’t remember what each registry key represents. (do you really want to remember what the CLSID {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} represents?).
