The complete error was:
SSL Error 59: The server sent a security certificate identifying "10.20.30.40", the SSL connection was to "fqdn".
The strange thing was that on some workstations there was no error while others showed us the above error..what was the difference..?
Because there must have been a difference right..? Right!
You might want to check if the problematic machine is behind a……….PROXY!
Yes, the almighty proxy could throw a monkey wrench in the connection process. After having the IP’s excluded from all the content checking mechanism of the proxy software,the Citrix connection was established without a hitch!
